I know the Latam Substack guy recently did a podcast w/ a Brazilian oil expert who noted the private sector Brazilian oil stocks that deal with the smaller and depleted fields that a bureaucratic behemoth like Petrobras does not want to deal with can take oil out for as low as a few dollars a barrel - and you don't have all the political noise that comes with Petrobras...
This was your best writing yet mate. Well Done 🤙🏼
Thanks man, I appreciate these words a lot 🤙
I linked to this piece and a couple of others on Petrobras in my links post for today: https://emergingmarketskeptic.substack.com/p/emerging-markets-week-march-18-2024

Thanks 🙏
Thanks Petrobro :)
8,8 Billion in the fund is huge news actually. Share Price should have reacted positively and not negative. lol.
I have PBR for some years now and am used to the volatility.
Well, that’s the mindset that’s necessary to survive in this market ;)
Tell that Brazilian member to invest in Turkey or Argentina. Brazil is very stable. Thanks, very cheap indeed.
Haha I will. Turkey is another level. Anadolu Efes is in my opinion the highest quality company there.
Coca Cola Icecek is very good but its part of it.
Yes, you basically get CCI for “Free”, by buying Efes
I did a short piece on Anadolu Efes last year BUT I think its harder for the average investor to access Turkish stocks - albeit they have the Frankfurt listing: https://emergingmarketskeptic.substack.com/p/anadolu-efes-bridging-east-west-beer-soft-drinks/comments
Agreed! Efes is interesting. I see it as a buy it once hold it forever stock. Turkey in general is difficult for foreigners.
